New for 2025, the Artemis Compost Spreader is a unique, innovative, heavy-duty, premium-quality Compost Spreader with a new feature that is unrivalled in the marketplace.
Including a new patented frame-mounted Artemis Compost Spreader Brush, to ensure that the mesh is always clear of debris, the Artemis Compost Spreader sets a new standard for Compost Spreaders in the marketplace.
No other Compost Spreader has a mesh clearance system to help handle damp top dressing materials or moist ground conditions as well as the Artemis Compost Spreader does. As the mesh remains clear of debris, the topdressing will be dispersed at a consistent rate and spread as uniformly as possible onto the ground. Without the mesh blocked up by sticky, damp materials, it also ensures that less of your grass seed and fertiliser will get picked up as you roll over it, helping to produce an evenly-covered new lawn with fewer bare patches left behind.
The Artemis Compost Spreader is extremely well built, evidenced by the fact that it weighs several KG more than many other compost spreaders available. In addition, the gate is a class-leading 12 inches wide, making it easier to get material into (and waste out of) the spreader. The gate is secured with heavy duty, adjustable clasps making the Artemis Compost Spreader much more suitable and durable for spreading heavier topdressing materials like topsoil which put considerable pressure on the gate during rolling. The spreader also has extra-strong, thick mesh which is not easily punctured. The handle allows the length to be changed to suit the comfort of the user.
An excellent choice for professionals and amateur lawn care enthusiasts, the Artemis Compost Spreader barrel does not require assembly which makes it considerably stronger than many other Compost Spreaders and able to handle a class-leading 75+ litres of material.

Description
Super-Strong Side Clasps
Heavy duty, adjustable clasps are much more suitable for spreading heavier topdressing materials like topsoil which put considerable pressure on the gate during rolling.
The Artemis Compost Spreader clasps are much more durable as they don't have a large spring that may stretch over time and loosen the gate.
Adjustable
The Artemis clasps are also adjustable so you can be certain that your gate can always be fully secured. This is very important because if the gate becomes loose, the gate will constantly pull against the fixings into the side of the spreader and damage the rivets holding the clasps in place.

Mesh Clearing Brush
The Artemis Compost Spreader Brush spans the full width of the spreader so all the mesh is kept clear as the spreader rotates.
The brush only needs to be in light contact with the surface of the spreader to clear any material from the mesh which then simply falls back into the spreader for redistribution.
Height Adjustable
The Artemis Compost Spreader Brush is height adjustable so you can set the brush to apply as little or as much friction as you want. A couple of turns by hand of the wing nuts is all that is needed to make any adjustments.
Brush Engagement
The Artemis Compost Spreader Brush can remain attached to the spreader at all times. It can be quickly engaged or disengaged whenever the ground or material conditions require it by simply adjusting the wing nuts at both fixing points by hand.

Mounting Positions
The Artemis Compost Spreader Brush has been designed to fit most compost spreaders which have a round profile handlebar mount, including all versions of the Landzie Compost Spreader.
The Brush has 4 fixing points, an inner pair and an outer pair. This ensures the brush can be mounted securely around handle brackets with a central, triangular or wide handle fixing point.
